a day in brussels with seniors

I%26#39;m planning to go for a day in Brussels from Amsterdam but everybody is telling me that its not suitable for my father as he can%26#39;t walk :( Is there a horse cart tours so as to see the city ???

No horse cart tours that I know of, but there are many bus tours which leave right from right outside the train station.

I%26#39;m afraid I agree with %26quot;everybody%26quot;: Brussels is not at all suitable for someone who can%26#39;t walk so unless you are prepared to pay for a taxi tour, I would not recommend it. The hop-on, hop-off buses that leave from near Gare centrale (but the road in front of the station has been dug up so I don%26#39;t actually know where you will find them now) cannot go into the Grand%26#39; Place - the principle thing you should see in Brussels - the Galeries St. Hubet or the little streets around there. There ARE horse-drawn carriage rides in the summer, but these usually leave from near the Bourse, which you will have some trouble getting to from the station if you can%26#39;t walk to the other side of the Grand%26#39; Place. You may, however, be able to arrange a different pick-up point if booking in advance, see:
