Drive from Bastogne to Brugges

Can anyone tell me what the drive is like from Bastogne to Brugges. I will be arriving this Friday in Brussels and driving to Bastogne but staying in Brugges. I would like to know how long it will take to get to Brugges so I can figure what time to leave Bastogne and get to Brugges before dark. I would also like to make a stop at Waterloo (Lion Mount), so I have to factor that in. Is there a lot of traffic on the ring road around Brussels? Construction? Suggestions? What is the speed limit? What will the drive be like if it rains, which is what is forecast for this Friday. I have traveled and driven in Europe many times, but this is my first time in Belgiium, looking forward to it. Thanks in advance.

Total distance 267 km, time 3h13 not counting stop(s) of course. For detailed driving directions go to www.viamichelin.com,

- under Departure (red) put 6600 Bastogne in 2nd box called %26quot;postcode, city, area%26quot; and select Belgium if it doesn%26#39;t say Europe.

- under Destination (green) put 8000 Brugge (not Brugges; the French is Bruges) in the equivalent box and change country if necessary

- in between these you will find %26quot;add a stage%26quot; click this and add 1420 Braine l%26#39;Alleud, Belgium which will take you to Mont St. Jean, outside Waterloo, which is where the lion mount is.

There is often a lot of traffic on the Brussels Ring from around 16.00 on a Friday, but if it%26#39;s raining there will probably be fewer people headed for the coast for the weekend.

Sorry departure is green and destination red: must be colour-blind!
