From the ryanair shuttle station to the CRL airport?

Does anyone know how long does it take from the ryanair shuttle station at the Charleroi airport to the airport itself - the terminals and gates? I^m worried about because we will arrive at 18.30 at this station and the plane takes off at 19.30. Do we have enough time to board on plane?

Thank you in advance

The busses are drop you outside the terminal and the airport is really not that big. You should have time although don’t forget that even if you have only hand luggage if you do not have an EU passport you still have to have your boarding pass authorised and your passport inspected at least 40 mins BEFORE you go to the gate. I%26#39;ve not need to do this but I think you have to go to the bag drop if you have luggage or to the visa/passport validation desk. You do also know that you have to check in online and take the printed boarding pass with you (try also not to fold it especially at the barcode).

I am assuming you are US citizens so this will apply to you. Plenty of people have been caught out by this and refused boarding.

20 minutes is not that much time to do all this. There are regular busses can’t you catch an earlier one?

There isn%26#39;t a %26quot;Ryanair shuttle station%26quot; at CRL, it arrives at a bus stop just outside the terminal, so it takes no more than a couple of minutes to get to the check-in desk/baggage drop. BUT, as noted above, you have to have completed this by 18.50, as Ryanair closes it 40 minute before the departure of the flight, irrespective of whether there are people still in the line.

RonaldoC and qaminari, thank you a lot for your quick answers!I´m a EU citizen (Montana is a little town in Bulgaria), so I do not need to pass through passport desk, do I?? I´ll carry only cabbin luggage so I guess I can go directly to the gate for bording with the printed boarding pass? Let´s hope, 20 minutes will be enough to check the gate out and to get there until 18:50.

Sorry, but have you ever travelled by plane before?! Passport control does not depend on your nationality but on where you are departing from and flying to. If flight from BE is to a destination which is (also) in Schengen, nobody goes through passport control, irrespective of citizenship. If flight is to a destination outside Schengen (including non-Schengen EU countries such as UK), EVERYBODY does, also irrespective of nationality. But you always have a boarding pass control at the entrance to the gate area, followed by security check on hand-luggage.

qaminari I think the OP meant the Ryanair passport validation desk I mentioned not passport control. Anyway Reise0nkel sorry for assuming you were from the USA, oops. Not quite the wide open skies of Montana but I’m sure a very nice town anyway.

If you only have hand luggage then you can go straight to the gate. Last time I was there I was at the furthest gate and it took deceptively long to walk there so don’t hang about. You can always wander back for a coffee if your flight is not boarding or delayed.

You will maake it easily you are an EU citizen and you have your boarding pass and only 1 item of handluggage ,so the 40 mins rule does not apply to you anyway.

Hi ReiseOnkel,

Stupid question...Why dont you get an earlier bus and cut out the worry ? Ryanair will be only to happy to tell you that it is not there problem if the bus is late getting to the airport. Get an earlier bus and relax.

Regards,

Supervanman.
