Is 4 days enough or too much for Brussels?

We are coming to Brussels next month for vacation. We have heard this city is a nice tourist city. What do you guys think? Is 4 days of stay in Paris too much? Or little? or enough? My parents are in their 60%26#39;s so you can imagine we are not coming to go partying.

Please let me know.

thanks

Not paris.

Sorry for the typo in the body of the message.

It doesn%26#39;t really matter. If you get bored, jump on a train to somewhere interesting, like, Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Ostende, Liege, leuven, etc, etc.

Nowhere is far away in Belgium.

I totally agree with the previous poster. You will have seen most of Brussels in 2days, so I recommend you take some day-trips on the 2 other days. Bruges is a %26#39;must%26#39; if you visit Belgium. I also recommend to go to the french speaking part of the country. The landscape is very different, and it will give you a great complete vieuw on what Belgium is like. (witch you don%26#39;t get by staying in the larger city%26#39;s) Try %26#39;Dinant%26#39;. Easy to get there by train, nice fortress remains on the hill, beautifull church, and if you like you also take a boat-trip. Have fun!

Four days are too many for Brussels, not enough for Belgium.

We had 3 days in Brussels, which we thought was a nice amount of time. There were some things we didn%26#39;t see that we would have liked to, but we probably could have seen a bit more if we hadn%26#39;t stayed out very late one night and slept in the next day :) We had a couple day trips outside the city in mind, but ended up spending our time in Brussels itself, which we liked a lot. I think 4 days would be perfect if they are planning a day trip or two, otherwise maybe cut back a day.
