Liverpool to Bruges by Eurostar?

Awww , so confused with all this!!!

Ive already booked b and b, and it seems so difficult to get to Bruges

Do people recommend eurostar and flights???

Why Eurostar AND flights?? Surely it is one or the other, and it is up to you to decide which you prefer: on the one hand, there is no direct flight to BRU from Liverpool, and you still have to change trains to get to Brugge from Brussels Airport, although that is not difficult at all; the alternative is to spend most of the day on a series of trains.

Personally I would fly from Manchester, if you live anwhere that is convenient for getting there, but you are the only one who knows your situation, and to find out prices for the date in question. But how did you think you were going to travel, you know where you live and presumably you knew where Brugge was before you booked accommodation there?!

Thanks for your advice, Id rather get flights from Manchester, just a bit unaware where Rail Station is when we get out of Brussels Airport.

I read on one of the posts there are two airports??

Where I live there are lots of eurostar packages being advertised for 3 nights, but we cant do 3 nights cos of work commitments.

Booked loads of time city breaks independantly, just got taxis into town from airport.

Typing error when I wrote eurostar and flights, I meant OR!

Firstly there is only one airport in Brussels, the international one at Zaventem. The other airport is 40 miles away at Charleroi just like Manchester International is Liverpool south east .It’s a Ryanair special.

The train station at BRU is below the arrivals hall. You need to take the train in the direction of Brussels and change at either Brussels north or central. From memory I think you are better going to Centraal as you just have to cross the platform to get the northbound train to Brugge, probably qaminari can confirm this. You can check timetables at
