The best place in Brussels for waffles, of the Brussels or Liège variety - we don%26#39;t have Belgian waffles as such, since all waffles made here are Belgian! - is the café above Dandoy in rue de l%26#39;Etuve, 1 block from the Grand%26#39; Place opposite the Amigo Hotel.
Friends who like seafood frequent the snack bar Nordzee/Mer du Nord, on the corner of rue St. Catherine and Place St. Catherine, not far from the Bourse.

mer du nord is a great place to go i frequent it most weeks with my daughter it can get a bit crowded but it is a lot of fun and good food
