Hi, I am going to the Belgium grand prix this year and wondered if anyone could recomend a good campsite close to the track

Me too! I thought I would bump this up to see if any one can help me. We are driving from Sheffield and need a camp site as close as possible to the track. For peace of mind I would also like to pre book the camping. Thank for any help, Lucy.

I stayed at the following campsite last year and will possibly stay here this year.
Its not far but need a car or transport but very clean and hot showers. Also has restaurant, bar and disco so recommend for all.

Thanks for the info, do the coaches go to the track at different times? We have general admission tickets and like to get to the track early on race day to grab a good spot, we are looking at being near/around Pouhon, what car parks do the coaches use? Thanks again, Lucy.

We are going for the second time in a row this year, staying at Camping de L%26#39;Eau Rouge ( www.eaurouge.nl) the site is 4k from the circuit and easy walking distance (its flat!) does get busy, very busy and to be honest shower facilities aren%26#39;t the greatest, but the views are stunning and its defo one of the closest and easy to get to which cuts out hassle of getting to circuit. Its cheap too, cost us about 50Euro%26#39;s for three nights camping.

just keep going as far as you can trackbound, theres 2 campsites right next to track at £140 a pitch for whole weekend, go on friday and they are empty

just stayed at camping f1 site, never again!Site is not sign-posted from E25 so drove around for two hours trying to find it. on arrival we found a sloping field with tents erected and long wet grass which they hadn%26#39;t considered cutting.
First morning,Friday, no water at all so no showers or toilets. The site seems to be run by students who haven%26#39;t got a clue what%26#39;s going on,when we asked what was going on we were told that a lot of people had used the showers and they had run out of water! I asked if they were not expecting us and they just said there was nothing they could do,and walked off shrugging their shoulders. They give you a wrist band which no-one ever asks to see, in fact there%26#39;s no security at all.
for the rest of the weekend the toilets were an absolute disgrace and remained uncleaned for the whole weekend. We paid a lot of money for the weekend being seven in our group. The nightly entertainment seemed to rely on volume above all else. The food was shockingly bad and at times they ran out of food, beer and change. The transport to the track was badly organised and most people took their own cars for Friday practice as they only had a mini-bus but said they were trying to get a coach from Liege. To say this was an amateur set-up would be unfair to amateurs. next year we will stay at a proper site or in one of the car-parks.I guess if you want all night partying and a site covered in slicks of vomit, this is the place for you but if youare a race fan i cannot advise you strongly enough to stay away from this shocking place.
