I am staying at the Sheraton Brussels in Rogier. I am traveling from London to Midi Brussel via Eurostar. My hotel is close to the Nord Brussels station. The hotel told me to take the train from Midi to Nord Brussels. However, most of the forums say to take either tram to Rogier or metro. I am confused. Can someone help me figure out what%26#39;s the best way? I have a carry on luggage. Also, does my Eurostar train actually take me to Nord or do I have to get off at Midi?
Thank you!

Eurostar terminates at Midi so you have to get off there but your Eurostar ticket covers you on any local train (e.g. all those going to the airport) to Gare centrale or Gare du Nord. The hotel probably recommends taking the train because you wouldn%26#39;t have to buy any other ticket, which is fine if you don%26#39;t mind walking 10 minutes or so from Nord to Rogier.
However, the Sheraton is in fact at Place Rogier, on top of Rogier metro station. This is most directly reached from Midi by underground tram (pre-metro), any line beginning with a 3 or 4, direction Gare du Nord (Rogier is the stop before Nord); or more easily, for people with luggage - because trams are high up with narrow entrances, and therefore difficult with luggage - by metro line 2/6 direction Simonis-Elisabeth. These options require purchase of a ticket on the Brussels city transport system, which covers buses trams and metros, costing €1.70 single.
So you have a choice: free transfer but a walk back to the hotel, or arrive right below the hotel but pay €1.70.
