My girlfriend and i are planning to go to bruges for a few days at christmas time
But im having difficulty finding ways of getting from brussels to the city, as the belgium train website wont return any searches
We arrive in brussels on the 23rd at 19h and need to get to bruges that night....
Leave on the 27th in the morning...
We just need to find timetables as our Eurostar ticket gives us access to any belgium station...

http://www.b-rail.be/main/E/ - the station is Bruxelles-Midi to Bruges. Plenty of trains in the evening of 23rd, did not check 27th.

Thanks for that...
How did you manage to check the times?
I clicked the link and its saying that the date im looking at is outside the window of booking atm...
just wondered how you got it to return times...
cheers

Apologies, did not notice the time change. The European train timetable changes on about 14th December, that%26#39;s why is shows as being outside the time limit. However, for trains Brussels to Brugge
there are unlikely to be any major changes. The trains will run more or less on the same time.
The new timetable will be published sometimes early in December, you can check then. But trust me, there will be a number of trains running in this direction.

You don%26#39;t need to search for the exact date, just make sure it%26#39;s the same day of the week (as between weekday, Saturday and Sunday).
You can%26#39;t book for domestic trains anyway, and you don%26#39;t need to buy a ticket from B-Rail as you will already have it (you will be using your Eurostar ticket). You just take the next train to Brugge (final destination Oostende or Knokke/Blankenberg) from Gare du Midi, which is where you arrive on Eurostar.
Trains to Brugge run until nearly midnight, if that is what you are worried about, and there are roughly 2 each hour. Every day, this will not change in December.
