heapest easiest way to get from Brussels airport

Can anybody tell me the easiest and cheapest way how to get from Brussels airport (this is how it%26#39;s called on my on-line ticket) to Etterbeek?

Where in Etterbeek? If near Etterbeek train station then take the train from the airport and change at Brussels North for the train in the direction of Louvain La Neuve but the connection is not so good and you will have to wait 15 minutes or so. If you are anywhere near the Schuman end then you can take the express bus from the Airport (#12) and get off at Schuman and walk or take another local bus.

Difficult to say without a street name.

Probably it would be cheapest to take the airport bus, solely because if you take a train and have to change to the Brussels public transport system (STIB), you will pay separately for each (€3 plus €1.70), whereas if you take the bus, transfer to any bus, tram or metro is included in the price of the bus ticket (€3 if purchased from the machine at the bus stop, €4 from the driver).

As for easiest route, all depends of course on exactly where you are going in the (quite large) commune of Etterbeek: but you could for example get off the bus at Diamant (pre-)metro station and take the underground tram 23/25 to Meiser, Montgomery and Etterbeek railway station (which, incidentally, is in Ixelles!); or you could get off at Schuman which is also in Etterbeek, and transfer to the metro there, e.g. to Mérode; where you can also catch the 82 tram to La Chasse or the 80 bus that passes Etterbeek town hall (maison communale).
