Hi all,
Late this fall, my husband and I are taking a quick trip from the US to Europe - mainly to visit Belgium (his work may end up transferring him to Antwerp), but sneaking in London too since we love it so much. Obviously, we can%26#39;t possibly see much of Belgium in such a short time, and the focus is on Antwerp, but I have also heard that Bruges is amazing.
Does this itinerary sound manageable? Am I missing something?
THURSDAY:
Flight lands at London Heathrow at 7 am
St. Pancras Eurostar leaving at 2:30 pm, arrive in Brussels 5:30 pm, train to Antwerp arriving about 7 pm
(2 night stay in Antwerp)
SATURDAY
Train to Bruges in the morning
(1 night stay in Bruges)
SUNDAY
Train to Brussels, Eurostar to London in afternoon
(2 night stay in London)
TUESDAY
Flight home to US
Thanks for any help or insight! (I will also ask on the London forum.)

No you aren%26#39;t missing anything, this allows time for checking in at St. Pancras (min. 30 minutes before departure) and will no doubt do the same on your return from Brussels.
Note that your Eurostar ticket includes the cost of travel to/from Any Belgian Station (that is, anywhere in Belgium other than Brussels), which means you can use your London-Brussels ticket on the Brussels-Antwerp train and the Brussels-London ticket on the Brugge-Brussels train when you are merely changing trains in Brussels: ABS conditions apply when less than 24hrs between trains in Brussels.
So in Belgium, you only have to pay for the train between Antwerp and Brugge (€13.60 single, 2nd class).
Note also that you have to book the Eurostar because it is reservation-only whereas you can%26#39;t reserve seats on domestic trains in Belgium, just take any seat in the appropriate class.

Thanks very much for the info!
