Can anyone tell me the cheapest way to travel to Brussels city from the International Airport. thanks

There is a rail station at the airport. Service into the city is frequent and cheap.

I agree. There is a rail center on the lower level of the airport. It makes several stops in the city. Inquire which stop is closest to your destination and get off. Easy and quick.

It costs exactly the same (€3) whether you take the train or the airport bus (as long as you buy ticket from the machine, if you buy it from the bus driver it costs €4); but since you don%26#39;t say where exactly you want to go to in Brussels, it is hard to advise. If you would be staying near one of the stations, most likely Gare centrale, you should take the train, but if you were staying somewhere you need to reach by bus, train or metro, you would do better to take the bus, since the price includes any changes - within 60 minutes of first stamping your ticket in the airport bus - onto other means of transport run by STIB (not the train, which is run by SNCB, i.e. Belgian Railways).
