Train from Brussels to Amsterdam

We will travelling by train from Brussels to Amsterdam late December. W ill we see any historic sites along the way eg war cemetries etc. Thanks for replies.

the journey is not particularily interesting, most war cemetaries are south west of Brussels, but even then there would not be anything like this to see from the train.

No, the WWI sites are around Ieper/Ypres in Flanders and the WWII sites in the Ardennes - and in any case I doubt that many the war cemeteries were sited right next to a railway line, it would not exactly provide the appropriate atmosphere.

You could call Antwerp historic but you will pass underneath the centre in a tunnel.

We just did this trip in reverse and the scenery is ok, but like others have said, not anything spectacular. You will see a lot of farmland, and some towns and cities.
