connection from Brussels to Antwerp

Please can someone recommend the best way to get to Antwerp from Brussels airport - rail or bus?

Can you tell me which number to catch and an idea of cost please? Thank you! Julia

There is a bus every hour run by Airport Express. I think the fare is 15 euros return.

I don%26#39;t think there is a direct train from Zaventem to Antwerp, you would probably have to change in Brussels. But I expect one of the train experts on this forum will advise on this

10 € one way for the bus. In the airport the level where you catch it is indictated.

Train: take a train to Brussels North and change there to Antwerp or Amsterdam. Have a look at Antwerp central station: it is a railway cathedarl!

The easiest way is by the bus that leaves every hour on the hour see www.airportexpress.be/page…

Being privately operated, it does not have a number, it has a name (airport express). Follow %26quot;bus%26quot; signs to level 0, go outside, follow the other people who will be going to the public bus stop, and the Antwerp bus, which last time I saw it was a big white coach, leaves from the %26quot;platform%26quot; to the right of that one.

The cheapest way on the other hand would be by train, which costs €7.40 as opposed to €10 by bus. In this case you would follow %26quot;train%26quot; signs to the station on level -1, buy your ticket to Antwerp, and board the train that stops at Bruxelles-Nord, Central and Midi. You can change at any of these for Antwerp.

Thank you so much! I am coming over to celebrate my daughter%26#39;s 21st birthday with excellent Belgian food and much shopping!

Thanks, Julia
