Waiting/Seating facility at Brussels Airport Arrival Hall

I and my cousin will arrive Brussels (BRU) on separate flights (two and half hours apart). So I have to wait for him. Where%26#39;s the best place to do that? Is there any seating area in %26quot;Level 2%26quot;, or I have to wait for him in the subway station (%26quot;Level -1%26quot;)?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I am assuming you are arriving from the US hence into the non Schengen terminal? Immediately as you leave the custom area and enter the arrival hall, you will see a seating area on your left - Quick burger and a coffee house. You could wait there for your cousin.

Thank you so much for the information. By the way, you mentioned the sitting area as %26#39;Quick burger and a coffee house%26#39;; is it inside a restaurant or more like in an open food court?

it is all open, so you will be able to keep an eye on the arrivals!

Thank you once again for the update.

I wouldn%26#39;t bother trying to keep an eye on the arrivals from any café or restaurant on level 2, usually there is such a crush of people waiting that you won%26#39;t see anyone arriving unless you stay in the crowd.

I would leave it to the later arriving person to find you at a pre-arranged point, in which case you could be anywhere - the most comfortable would probably be the Starbucks by the check-in desks on the DEPARTURE level (3) - I think near row 6 or 7, at any rate you can%26#39;t miss it - or for that matter, in one of the cafés on the Promenade level (4), you could just say %26quot; the first one you come to%26quot; (I don%26#39;t know its name!) or %26quot;Wing Tips, near the window%26quot; (self-service restaurant overlooking the airport), which is right at the end of that %26quot;corridor%26quot;.

Btw there is no subway station at BRU, it isn%26#39;t on the metro. There is a railway (train) station on -1 where there are seats, but I think the bus station on level 0 has a better waiting area (no café, though).

or you can meet in the place I recommended above in the arrival hall, that would save you both going up or down the terminal specially if you%26#39;ve never been there.
