Am looking to come to Bruges towards the end of September and wondering if anyone can tell me if the Canal Boat trips run in the evening (no mention of this in reviews)?
Had a wonderful night cruise in paris and would love to repeat experience in Bruges
Many thanks.

A boat trip on the picturesque canals of Bruges allows you to admire the city’s most beautiful sites from a totally different angle. The boats follow a set route and (dis)embarkation takes place at set points. The guides provide multi-lingual comment. The boats are not covered. Umbrellas are provided for rainy weather.
Explanations are given in Dutch, French, English, German, and some companies also offer Japanese and Spanish.
Opening hours: From March through Oktober, daily from 10 am until 6 am, November and February only in weekends good weather provided, December and January closed.
Prices: adults: 5,70 euros, children and groups 2,80 euros.
Location: there are five step-up points along the Dijver:
Old Saint-John%26#39;s hospital;
Bruggemuseum Gruuthuse;
Wollestraat;
Huidevettersplein.

Dany, many thanks for your quick and very detailed reply. I%26#39;m really pleased (and surprised) to know the boats run all night,am I right in thinking the canals are lit up at night too? This could make for a magical trip. Its very helpful to know the cost and embarkation points too.
Thankyou.

I think he meant 6 p.m. I was in Bruges last month and there were no evening cruises that I saw.

there is a good post in this thread which shows the boarding points for the canal cruises.
