Travel from Brussels to Arnhem and return

6 adults wish to travel from Brussels to Arnhem on Friday 6th November (am) and return on Sunday 8th (mid-afternoon) By train it seems this will take about 4 hours. Is it possible to hire a 6 seater taxi to do the same journey, and if so approximate cost?

Train will tke 3 hours 20 mins with a half hour (ouch)stop in Rosendaal.

Not sure that you mean you want to hire a taxi (and driver)for the weekend or you just want a mini bus or a people carrier for the weekend.

A taxi to Arnhem with a driver is gonna cost you lots of money.

It%26#39;s still a 2 hour drive on a good day, four on a bad one.

Train tickets will be around 70 euros each unless there is some kind of group ticket you can buy, some of you are seniors or whatever. Maybe one of the local experts could help you on that.

It would seem the most sensible, quickest and cheapest option is to rent a people carrieer and drive yourself.

Thanks - we had in mind just getting a minibus/taxi to deliver us to Arnhem and collect on Sunday - but this seems to be an expensive option - so will stick with rail!

OK but the train is gonna run at 420 euros for the six of you. Surely it would make more sense to rent a people carrier and drive.

Actually I see you seem to be travelling via the Eurostar to Brussels and then on to Arnhem. So in actual fact your final destination is Arnhem then. So where are you starting out from (Lincolnshire)? It seems you may be making life difficult for yourselves. Can you not fly to Amsterdam from East Midlands then take a train to Arnhem, direct train every 30 minutes

Hi

Love to be able to fly - but two of our party have a fear of flying, so we have to travel via eurostar!
