4 days in Bruges, late October.

Going to Bruges and would like some ideas of how to spend my 4 days there. Specifically, must sees, good reasonable eats that cater for a teenage girl who likes live music, good local pub where we can sample the local atmosphere, and I don%26#39;t mind a walk to get all of this, many thanks, Evs.

Brugge is great, just wandering through the streets and squares. I recommend climbing the belford tower on the market. Very romantic... There are some musea if you%26#39;re into it. I do like history, but I prefer just walking around and visiting some churches. You could easyly do it in 2 days, so maybe you would like to spend 2 days on other parts of the country? You could grab a train to Brussels, Antwerp, Gent or Oostende to spend a day there. Or also very popular is a boat ride or bike ride along the canal to Damme, the ancient harbour town of Brugge.

For eating in great atmosfere I recommend the %26#39;Curiosa Taverne%26#39;, Vlamingenstraat, Brugge. At street level you only see a stairs goïng down. It%26#39;s beautifully located in an old basement. Simple food, but very nice place.

Have fun!

This is what we did with 2 days in Bruges:

Toured the Halve Maan Brewery

Bike tour with Pink Elephant Bike tours (3 hours including a stop for snacks)

Climbed the Belfort in the Markt square

Visited Choco-Story (chocolate museum) and the Frites Museum

Canal cruise

Walked around a bunch

Hung out on cafe terraces when the weather was good and inside a couple places when it wasn%26#39;t

We had a really great time. Our plan was to also go to the coast - take the train to Oostende and then from there ride the tram around to other coastal locations, but the weather didn%26#39;t cooperate.
