Hi all,
I%26#39;m planning to go to a match whilst we%26#39;re in Bruges (Club Brugge - KV Mechelen Saturday 12th Dec).
Not my idea of fun but I%26#39;m planning this trip for husbands birthday %26amp; I know he will love it.
Anyway, we%26#39;re staying just off Markt sqaure %26amp; I%26#39;m wondering what the best method of transport to the stadium is? I%26#39;ve had a llok on Google maps %26amp; can see that the stadium is only 15 mins away by car so we could get a taxi but are there decent direct public transport services?
Also, do you think I%26#39;ll be better to pre order tickets online if I can or get them when we arrive.
Thanks in advance.

You can take bus 5 or 15 from Brugge railway station to St. Andries plaats for the J.Breydel Stadium; there are plenty of buses from Markt to the station, see http://www.trabel.com/brugge-transport.htm.
And http://www.stadiumguide.com/janbreydel.htm

There won%26#39;t be a problem for you to simply show up on the day of the match and buy tickets then, this match won%26#39;t sell out and there are no security/hooliganism concerns
Although the fixtures probably show the game taking place on a Saturday, the actual date and time is normally decided 1-2 months in advance, due to the needs of TV. I doubt this game will be televised, if it is then its most likely to be on a Sunday evening, otherwise they%26#39;ll play the match on a Sunday afternoon (1500 ko) like most Club Brugge games.

ps if you really want to be 100% sure of a ticket in advance, try the following website to buy a ticket online:
http://www.ticketingonline.be
You%26#39;ll get a voucher which you need to take to the club ticket office with photo ID to exchange for the ticket(s).
