From Antwerp to Charleroi Airport on 17th October

Hi there...

I was wondering if there is a possibility to travel from Antwerp to Charleroi Airport on 17th October (Saturday). My flight is at 8:30 in the morning...

I have checked http://b-rail.be but it appears that the earliest connection from Antwerp to Charleroi Sud is departing at 5:38 arriving at 7:20 to Charleroi Sud.

That is only 1h10m before departure of my flight so I was thinking if there is a better (earlier) solution?

Well you will either have to take a taxi from Charleroi-Sud to the airport (+/- 10 mins) or you will have to spend the Friday night in Brussels (there is an Ibis Hotel next to Gare du Midi) if you don%26#39;t want to spend it in Charleroi (where there is also an Ibis next to Charleroi-Sud station).

While the 6.30 shuttle bus from Brussels - they start at 4 - will get you to CRL for 7.30, you can barely get from Antwerp to Brussels on a Saturday morning in time to catch it: the first train is at 05:38, arr. 06:26 and you would have to get all the way around to the back of the station - near the Air France office - to catch the shuttle. www.charleroi-airport.com/doc.php…
