We are taking a train into Brussels from antwerp on the 30th of sept as we have an early am flight out of Brussels on 1st. Thought we would come in early and spend the day and be close to airport next am. We need to room, it%26#39;s our last day, budget gets tighter! This is the least expensive one that I could find. Is it a big deal to come in by train, go out there deposit bags and come back to city for the day? I don%26#39;t expect much for that amount but want to make sure it%26#39;s not too bad! Plus it has an airport shuttle.

It%26#39;s not a big deal if you don%26#39;t mind the time needed for train plus shuttle (plus waiting time depending on shuttle timetable) - but you did see that the first shuttle in the morning is at 06:00? See also tripadvisor.in/Hotel_Review-g227587-d232031-…

Yes, I did note that. We have an 8:10 flight and it looks like this hotel is 20 min away? so figured it would get us there at 6:20-6:30 and hopefully the 90 min will be enough to check in. I have elite status with delta so I should be able to get in the fast line.
Or just take a taxi if we think we need to get their earlier.
Odd thing is when booked online two rooms, at $83 USD that was much much lower than the rest and as I said, it%26#39;s a place to sleep the last night. BUT the site only confirmed ONE room and said to contact the hotel for the other room. Very very strange. I emailed them as their less expensive price could be costly if I have to call them from the US! Who ever heard of not processing both rooms on the same request page at the same time?
As of this am no contact from hotel. I figure when I get to Ireland I%26#39;ll call them. If they won%26#39;t give me the second room at the same rate, I%26#39;ll cancel my amex chg even though they say at that rate no cancellations. well, in this case they didn%26#39;t process the whole itinerary.
Worse comes to worse I will scramble to find something in Brussels and take a taxi up, just wanted to avoid any work travel in the early am just in case...
