Best Hotel at the moment?

I%26#39;m looking to book a romantic break with Mrs OA in the next month or so.

I%26#39;m looking for a centrally located hotel with excellent rooms, not bothered about facilities within the hotel, such as restaurants but want excellent service. Price is not too much of an issue thankfully but I want value for my money.

What would you regulars recommend?

Thanks!

I%26#39;ve personally been very impressed by the romantic pandhotel in Bruges. http://www.pandhotel.com/index.htm

Everything was just top notch. It%26#39;s a small hotel with not to many beds, the service and location are superb! The prices are quite high, but if you%26#39;re early with booking, you can often make a real bargian! The Tuilerieën www.hoteltuilerieen.com/index.php?p=/en/home/ is another famous hotel in Bruges, but I can%26#39;t tell you anything about it. Enjoy your stay.

Pandhotel is very nice and Heritage Hotel. A wonderful romantic B%26amp;B if you don%26#39;t want room service, is Cote Canal. Its really more like a small botique hotel. We had a room that overlooked the canal with a garden area right on the water. Very romantic but its not a hotel. No room service, etc.

i persnally don%26#39;t find the pandhotel value for money. overpriced small rooms or overpriced larger rooms

the kempinski is top dog and has good rates at the moment. has full on hotel service. none of the other hotels really match up for staffing levels as they are all small family run places

the heritage too is very small, smart and homely

The Kempinski has 93 rooms, there is no personal touch, the Pand has 26 I believe. That%26#39;s the difference... I personally like small, cousy hotels with not to many people around. If you want a romantic break, I think you%26#39;ll be wanting the same.

DEFINITELY any one coming to Bruges should definitely look into the Heritage Hotel. My wife and I arrived today and the hotel is really amazing! The location simply can%26#39;t be beat! (About 1 block from Market Square). The owner is very polite and friendly and the room is extremely charming.

The room we are in is on the top floor and really large. They had fresh fruit in the room for us and when we got back from walking around they had turned down the beds and put both red and white wine in the room.

I%26#39;ll post a formal hotel review after we check out but definitely I can%26#39;t think of a more romantic hotel. We travel about 100 days a year all around the world and they definitely do a great job here.

Our bathroom is really large, the hotel room has a very large 42%26#39; LCD TV which surprised us. The room also has a computer in it with Internet. Something also that was different is the owner said Internet is now included in the rate. The bathroom has a separate shower stall, a large bathtub with Jacuzzi tub, double his and hers sinks and they are using high end Hermes soaps/shampoos/bathroom products.

We had arranged them to set up a crib which is fairly pricey at €19 a night but definitely we aren%26#39;t complaining as everything is so perfect. The room is really quiet and the large King size bed is very comfortable.

I booked the hotel as it got such rave reviews from Trip Advisor and glad we booked this over a larger hotel like the Sofitel (which we almost booked). The TA reviews are definitely spot on target. This place is great! I%26#39;d recommend booking a room on the 4th floor. I took some photos and will post them once I post a hotel review.

we stayed in sofitel hotel and we loved it.

Last ChristmasI stayed for four nights in Villa des Raisins which has just 3 rooms, and ours - the smallest one was really nice, it%26#39;s 8-10min walk to Burg. i can%26#39;t praise enough the room, breakfast included and owners.

Look into Number 11 B%26amp;B. It is right in the middle of the old town. Breakfast is great, close to everything in the old town. I stayed there last October and would definitely go again.
