Well I%26#39;m taking the Mrs to Bruges this coming Friday for one night. We%26#39;ll be there by 10am and don%26#39;t have to leave until 4pm the following day. So could someone help me out on the %26#39;must see%26#39; places of historic Bruges itself.
I%26#39;ve got a couple of ideas for a restaurant but I%26#39;m always partial to anymore.
Thanks in advance
Ben

The Must See%26#39;s for that time frame would be a climb to the top of the bell tower if you%26#39;re up for it, Church of Our Lady, Canal Cruise, and a romantic carriage ride to scope out other places that interest you.
Have a wonderful time!

The best way to see Bruges is on foot but given your timeframe I agree with the previous poster that something like a horse drawn carriage ride would be the ideal way to get your bearings and see some of the sites. As the canal boat tour is a must.
