Hi,
I%26#39;m interested in your comments on a trip we have planned. Reading this forum we decided on the cities below in the following order. We fly in/out of Amsterdam. What are your thoughts? We don%26#39;t plan to have a car so is it possible to take a train or bus from one city to the other?
3 nights in Amsterdam
2 nights in Bruges
1 night in Ghent
1 night in Antwerp
1 night in Maastricht (have to do this city)
1 night in The Hague
1 night in Amsterdam

Buses no, trains yes, and the order you propose is a logical one. For Amsterdam-Brugge (takes about 3 hrs), you have to change in Antwerp, and for Antwerp-Maastricht (2h05), in Brussels: timetables will tell you to change at Bruxelles-Nord - Antwerp-Brussels trains call at Nord, Central and Midi, while Brussels-Maastricht trains start at Midi and travel through Central and Nord, so in the opposite direction.
You can work out all timings using http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en
While this goes beyond the Belgium forum, for Maastricht-Den Haag - the Hague - (2h38) you have to change in Eindhoven.
