We%26#39;re thinking of staying at the Sofitel Louise, as it appears to be close to Rue de la Régence, but I have a concern after looking at the photo of the entrance. I am traveling with a senior citizen with artificial knees, and we have difficulties with escalators. Is there any other way into the hotel apart from that escalator?
Thank you.

I don%26#39;t know of any other way in than the escalator, but there may be a service lift (elevator) somewhere, why don%26#39;t you e-mail the hotel and ask?
Otherwise, you have the Brussels Hilton on the other side of the Boulevard, or the Jolly Hotel Sablon is even closer to rue de la Régence, in the Sablon close to the big church, Notre Dame du Sablon. Both of those have no escalators, only elevators (or stairs).
Of course the Sofitel is closer to the metro - Louise metro station - but if escalators are a problem I presume you will be taking taxis anyway, as you won%26#39;t be able to get in and out of metro stations.
