We will be arriving into Bruges on a train and leaving from Brussels airport. What is the best way to get from Bruges to the Brussels airport? Also, we are considering checking out the old town of Brussels on our way out, is there a place to store our luggage, perhaps in a main train station, while we do this? Thank you!

By train, and while Brussels doesn%26#39;t exactly have an %26quot;old town%26quot;, if you want to visit the Grand%26#39; Place, get off at Gare centrale, leave your luggage at the %26quot;consigne%26quot; (where there are both lockers and a staffed left-luggage office) and follow the signs %26quot;to the Grand%26#39; Place%26quot;, it%26#39;s only about 5 minutes%26#39; walk from the station.
Coming from Brugge the train calls at Gare du Midi, Gare centrale and Gare du Nord on the way into Brussels and the airport train makes the same stops on the way out to the airport (which is not in the city or region of Brussels itself but just outside it, in Zaventem).
