Taxi Ostend Airport-Brugge Centrum cost

We want to get from Ostend airport to Brugge centre on Saturday morning (26th July). Can anyone tell us how much it will cost? I know it will be expensive but we are short on time, I the tram/train/walk to centre seems slow. We would rather spend the time eating and drinking! thanks

It would be bus (no. 6, to the station)/train/walk, there is no tram out to the airport.

There used to be a bus from Oostende airport to Brugge Katelijnepoort run by Reizen Joye (a travel agency, tel. 32 (0)51 58 83 47), cost at least 5 years ago +/- €5. However, it isn%26#39;t mentioned on the airport%26#39;s website and since it leaves/left the airport around 18:30 it wouldn%26#39;t be very convenient for someone arriving in the morning.

So, I would suggest you email taxi@kust4u.be or phone Taxi Roger +32 (0)59 80 60 87 or Taxibond Van Oostende +32 (0)59 70 27 27 and ask for a quote. I wouldn%26#39;t have thought it would be more than €50.

I was hoping fare would be about 50 Euro. Not sure exactly when we get there so don%26#39;t want to book.

We phoned Taxi Roger when we got there and he came out and collected us in 5 minutes. The fare on the meter was 65Euro. We got the train back as time was not so critical, but the taxi from Ostend centre to the airport was 15 Euros.

I can just about understand why people might want to take a taxi from Brugge to Brussels airport, e.g. they may be travelling with a lot of luggage and/or a person who can%26#39;t walk very well, or consider that for 4 people, the cost is worth it. Plus, it%26#39;s good to know how much it does cost, as there are those who don%26#39;t realise that an hour%26#39;s trip by taxi is not going to be cheap.

What I really don%26#39;t understand is why someone would look for a year-old question about getting from OSTEND airport to Brugge to put the information under! Especially given the number of times people - who apparently never look at any previous questions - ask about getting from Brussels to Brugge.
