We are looking at an 8 day trip to Belgium. We know we want to go to Brugge and will spend a few days in Brussels. We are also thinking about Antwerp and Ghent. Any suggestions on how many days in each place? We don%26#39;t want to have a rushed vacation- we would like a relaxed pace.

8 days - I would say 3 days Bruges, 1 Ghent, 2 Antwerp, 2 Brussels. This web site may help you decide. www.ZamsGallery.com

I agree with the previous post, but you might like to add a trip to the ardennes, the southern part of our country. Another language, other landscape and other people, when you travel so far to see Belgium you might like to have a biger impression of our country then just the flemish part!
My andvise is to go to Antwerp just one day and on the other day grab a train to Dinant. It%26#39;s a small town, not too far by train and lovely to visit. There are ruins of an old fortress on top of the hills, a nice church and you can also visit the cave %26#39;La Merveilleuse%26#39; or take a boat-trip.
You will have seen most of Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels in one day each. In Bruges a stay of 2 days is recommended. You could do it in one day too, but it%26#39;s just so great to just wander around... Perhaps you like some more time there...
Staying in Brussels gives you the advantage of good connections to the southern part. But if you stay on the North, Brugge has good connections too.
Enjoy your holliday!
