Chocolate Factory

I was wondering if anyone knows if the chocolate musuem/factory in Brussels is open on New Years Eve- day? I tried contacting them and have not been able to get through. Thank You!

I would expect it to be open on 31 December and closed on 1 January, but if you google chocolate museum Brussels, the details would normally be on their website.

Thanks-I hope it is-- I did look at their website that is where I got the contact info- but it did not list the holidays- maybe it is too soon?

No, it seems to be a stupid website (I couldn%26#39;t get into it from work to check)! Apart from Mondays it doesn%26#39;t mention any particular closing days, but I did find this elsewhere:

%26quot;Opening hours (museum and shop): Tues-Sunday: 10am to 4.30pm; closed Mondays except in July, August AND ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.%26quot;

1 January is a public holiday, 31 December isn%26#39;t. I would expect this to mean that they are closed on 1 January, as hardly anything is open then; only the atomium claims to open 365 days a year.
