I%26#39;ve seen a really good deal on hotel and transport to Antwerp over the Christmas period. Christmas Eve and Christmas day to be precise. However, only having been to Antwerp once before, I have little idea of what is open, restaurants etc ovet this period. A little help would be much appreciated.

Christmasmarket takes place at the GROENPLAATS and goes from 9 to 27 december.It is open from
vr-za : 12.00 to 22.00
zo-do : 12.00 to 20.00
24 dec : 12.00 to 18.00
26 dec : shops are open
Maybe for restaurants better make a reservation
Food and drink possible on christmasmarket

Xmas Eve might be pretty quiet in the city. Most Belgians celebrate at home with the family. No problem, though, to find a restaurant. Reserving ahead of time might be a good idea. There will be restaurants that offer special Xmas dinners only.
