Is there a train from the airport to the Schuman Station?

Anyone can tell me if there is a train from the airport to the Schuman Station and also if the

Schuman Station is near the European Commission

Building our hotel is the New Hotel Charlemagne that is located at one block of the European commission but we are not sure if the train stop is nearby. Thank you

Yes Schuman railway station is next to Avenue Charlemagne (the European Commission has buildings all over Brussels, but 2 of them flank that avenue, one of which is the Berlaymont) but no, the airport train doesn%26#39;t call there, Schuman is on a different line. Airport train calls at Bruxelles-Nord, Bruxelles-Central, Bruxelles-Midi; trains to Schuman start at Midi and call at Central and Nord on the way to Schuman, final destinations are e.g. Ottignies, Namur, Luxembourg (Ville).

So, you can buy a ticket from the airport to Schuman but you have to change trains at Gare du Nord and also change directions.

For timetables put BRU (this is the airport code but it will give you full name of airport to select) and Bruxelles-Schuman into http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en

Incidentally, the airport express BUS stops at Rond-Point Schuman, next to the metro station (rue Archimède). Both train and bus cost €3, in the case of the bus though only if you buy the ticket from the machine, if you buy it from the driver it costs €4.
