trains

Hello all,

My friend and I are going to Lille for the christmas markets for 2 days in December. We have decided to spend one day in Bruges for their markets and canals. Do we travel from the same station we arrived at, how often do they run return, how long a journey and how much? We would also like to fit Gwent into the trip too, or would this be too much. Can we get a train there, how long and how much would that be?

Does anyone know how we get to the old town, markets and canals from the station?

Sorry for all the questions but we haven%26#39;t got long so it would be very helpful to know roughly where the main areas are.

Grateful for any help.

Barbara

I think you would have to go from Lille to Brussels and change trains there for the Gent - Bruges train..it is a bit of a journey from Lille but I would think do-able...I am sure someone with more knowledge will come along to help more.
