Antwerp or Brussels

Hi,

We have 1 night free and wonder if we should spend it in Antwerp or Brussels. Does anyone have suggestions on which one would best to spend the night? We will be coming from Gent.

If you are asking about practicalities, you should perhaps indicate where you would be going to next! If you were going North, e.g. to Amsterdam, I would be inclined to spend it in Antwerp, if South or West (or East, e.g. to UK by Eurostar), or if you are leaving from BRU airport, in Brussels.

If you want to know which city would offer you the most activities that are to your taste, it would be an idea to indicate what you like. Antwerp sounds more interesting,morning visit to Cathedral and Rubens House museum then buy chocolate from Leonidas the best where the best belgian chocolate is made.
