hi all,
looking to head over to Brussels around xmas time with my gf.
i was wondering if the xmas market was as good just after xmas around 27/28 December?
also what else is there to do around town apart from the market at that time of year? sites etc?
any help would be much appreciated.

Makes little difference because it isn%26#39;t really a Christmas market - together with the skating rink and (small!) big wheel it calls itself %26quot;Winter pleasures%26quot;. It is in full swing over the Christmas holidays because people are off work, and half of the stalls sell food or drink of some sort (the rest mainly craft items).

thanks for that.. much help.
just wondering as well what other sites / things to do around the town are there?
planning to spend a day in and around the market and a day exploring the town.
Cheers

If you mean, specifically related to the Christmas period, the only other thing I can think of is the sound-and-light show in the Grand%26#39; Place (Electrabel Nights, you can see previous years%26#39; offerings on YouTube).
