Special trip to Brussels in December

Hi

I am planning a trip to brussels for myself and my boyf in december. I want to make it a really special weekend away - I%26#39;ve only booked our travel there - haven%26#39;t booked any hotels or anything yet but would be really keen to get any tips on how to make it extra special. I don%26#39;t mind paying a bit more for luxury or doing slightly different/quirky things. We are there in early december from Friday to Sunday evening - plan to make a trip to the Christmas markets but any tips or pointers on where to stay/eat/ things to do would be much appreciated!

The Amigo is supposed to be the best hotel in Brussels, but check out the Dominican - which is very close to Belga Queen, a restaurant you might want to try: http://www.deltaweb.be/restaurant-Belga-Queen+4455+e.

I always recommend a visit to the Musical Instrument Museum, the arched window (in the dome) you can see in this picture belongs to the rooftop café: http://www.mim.fgov.be/

you better get on and book if you are going the weekends of 4th or 11th december. christmas markets mean it%26#39;s busy. amigo has the best staff to customer ratio so if it%26#39;s service you want then go there. dominican has nice rooms but you would be well-advised to book an upgraded room category - the standards are small. for large rooms and a classic feel at a better price try le plaza
