We are a family of 6 and would like to stay in Bruges for 2 nights over New Year 31st/1st but cannot find any apartment to rent in Bruges. Do you have any suggestion? I have found one in Brussels it%26#39;s the Marriot Serviced Apartments in European Quarter , the reviews seem fine but is this near the centre of Brussels as it would be good to go for a meal to celebrate the New Year in .

Plenty of access to bus and metro from there. The Grand Place etc would be quite a walk - 20 - 30 mins I%26#39;d guess. There are usually fireworks on the Mont des Arts on NYE. I would recommend booking a restaurant well in advance for that night, as most places do special %26quot;Reveillon%26quot; menus - 7 courses and champagne etc
