Could anyone advise me on the best way to get from the airport to Brugge using public transport ? Also approximate cost and journey times would be great.

You can buy a special ticket from a desk inside CRL airport that covers you on local bus 68 (or A) to Charleroi-Sud railway station (10 mins) then train to Brugge, changing in Brussels (it%26#39;s an hour from Bxl to Brugge, a bit less from Charleroi to Bxl) for €11 single, €22 return; this ticket is not available at the station so you must buy it at the airport.
Otherwise, there is a shuttle bus from CRL to Bxl (€13) that brings you to Gare du Midi, where you would have to catch the train (€12.90).
