European vaction with teenagers

I am planning to take a European vaction with teenagers around a year from now, and I was looking for some advice. Like to spend about 21 days including flight. Looking to free travel with the euro rail. Like to visit the most places we can to get an great overall experience of Europe. On a budget since having to save for a few years. Any advice?

In Belgium I%26#39;d just stick with Bruges, a very nice city and doable in one day because it is not big (but very crowded with tourists!)

In general I%26#39;d go only to Amsterdam, Bruges, Paris, Italy, Switzerland , Salzburg, Munich.and places in between these countries and around these cities, but all depends on your interests of course.

You can fly cheaply on www.wizzair.com , www.easyjet.com , www.germanwings.com and some more budget airlines.

Your question goes way beyond tiny Belgium, you might want to try the train travel forum. Frankly I don%26#39;t see how anyone but you can say which cities or even countries should be on your itinerary, and it would be a good idea to start by planning the flight to determine where your starting point would be! Or are you asking in the Belgium forum because you would be flying to BRU?

If you want to travel by train, which is not necessarily the cheapest option, there is no train operator called %26quot;the euro rail%26quot;: there is a Eurail pass which is sold by different agencies e.g. Rail Europe (largely owned by French Railways, sells passes and tickets on different European countries%26#39; systems to people outside Europe). You can buy a multi-country pass but should be aware that you would have to RESERVE SEATS IN ADVANCE and pay a supplement on top of any pass to use trains like Eurostar (between London and Paris/Brussels) and Thalys (between Paris and Brussels and optionally - normal IC trains also available - between Brussels/Antwerp and Amsterdam).

IF starting in Brussels, a possible itinerary might be Brussels-Cologne-Berlin-Prague-Vienna-Salzburg-Venice(-Florence)-Milan-Paris-London-Brussels, doing Brugge as a day trip from here. If you want to include Spain it would be best to fly from Milan or Rome to, say, Barcelona (e.g.with Vueling), as it would take a while to go via the Mediterranean coast, via Ventimiglia, Marseille and Béziers.

Why not call at a travel agent%26#39;s and pick up brochures on European tours to get an idea of what sort of itineraries are feasible/might interest you, which you can then plan on an independent basis. Look at websites like themaninseat61, also.
