3 days in Bruges with children; Need some advice on Hotels

Hello,

we are planing to spent my wife%26#39;s birthday in a romantic setting in Bruges with our 12 and 9 years old children. Yesterday (Sunday) I spent the whole day reading through the forum and the reviews of the still available Hotels and BB%26#39;s.........but it did not help at all to make a decision.

B%26amp;B%26#39; s such as Bonifacius are at 1.500 for the four of us, which is more than I am willing to spent. Other B%26amp;B%26#39;s (canal Cote; Number 11) are already booked out.

Since we like to travel with Relais %26amp; Chateaux Hotels, I first thought that this would be our choice. But there is the Kempinski, the Orangerie and so on....All of them seem to be nice. And they are all in the € 1.100 region, which is fine.

And there is Jan Brito. Here we were offered a family duplex room for € 650 which would be a nice saving. But I do not want to be penny wise/pound foolish. I rather spent more, if I get a much better, somehow charming hotel.

I really would appreciate, if someone could help me with an advise, which hotel I should book.

Thank you very much and best regards.

Peter

Hi

The Jan Brito seems to get reasonable reviews here on Tripadvisor.

tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g188671-d2651…

It looks pleasant from the outside (I have not been in).

It is not in the class of the Kempinski, the Orangerie etc, you are comparing top end 5* hotels with a very nice 4*again so the prices reflect this.

You could look at the B%26amp;B iroom

Try some of the web sites that rent out properties for owners. We had a lovely two bedroom house with full kitchen, bath etc. for 5 nights for around $700.00 us , which was a great value. The kids can have a little space of their own(you too). Many like to rent for a week-but if they are open they may let for a shorter span

Enjoy-it%26#39;s great
